Affective Science
The scientific study of emotion or affect is the key to developing new ideas that resonate and stick. Through our work, we have found that the role of emotions in consumer behaviour and new product thinking is generally squeezed out of the process, simply due to a lack of awareness. Developing a sharper lexicon of emotions and how they relate to research and design strategy is an integral part of our philosophy and how we conduct our work.
